Take’ em off then Put’ em Back On!

If you’ve ever had lash extensions then you know that they “grow off” so having to remove them by a lash artist isn’t something that needs to be done often. However there are times when your eyelash extensions do actually need to be removed. Firstly, Flirt Custom Lash Studio does not remove the work of other studios – I know annoying right?!. There is a really good reason why though, 90% of the glue being used within eyelash extension studios contains formaldehyde which is toxic. In order to remove toxic glue you need toxic remover, our adhesive does not contain any toxins so our remover cannot remove the work of other studios. Over the years we have tried and tried to remove lashes put on from other place only to waste everyone’s time because we could not get them off. Moving on….we can certainly remove our own work, quick and painless the extensions will slip right off with no trouble. Ok so now they are off….let’s put them back on!! hold up….you should never do a removal and reapplication in the same appointment. It’s very important to shower after the removal, giving your face and lids a really good scrub. All of the remover MUST be gone in order for the new set of lashes can be reapplied and last without falling off. So now what do you do? if you are coming from another studio but want to switch to FCL (we would love to have you btw) you can either ask the current studio to remove your current lashes then give us a call to book your fresh set of extensions. You can wait until all your current lashes grow off (about 4 weeks) then come to see us. If you are a current client then the options are much the same: come on in to remove the lashes then have your new set applied after you have showered or wait until your lashes have grown off and do another set.

So you can take’em off no problem, you just have to wait to put’em back on…but! by following that advice your new fresh set will be guaranteed to last.
