Preparing for your Lash Lift Appt
So you’re getting a Lash Lift (maybe with tint), here’s what to expect and what you need to know to keep those lashes lifted as long as possible.
Think of a lash lift as a perm for your lashes, a solution is applied to curl the lashes and then another is applied to hold the curl just like a perm for your hair. With eyelash extensions we can guarantee results however with a lash lift there is no guarantee. Sometimes (although not very often) the hair refuses to take the curl. Again, this doesn’t happen very often and we do our very best to ensure we use the correct products and application process to have the hair hold the curl.
What to expect:
the appt will take about 45 mins and you will need to keep your eyes closed
once the final step of the application is done and the solution is removed you will find that your natural lashes will feel stiff - this is the curl setting solution
the setting solution needs to keep dry for a min of 24 hrs, the longer you keep them dry the better the curl will hold
the curl will hold about 4 to 5 weeks and will fall gradually until the hair goes back to its natural state
you can’t do lash lifts back to back to back, you will burn the hair. You need to wait 6 to 8 weeks in between applications to ensure the health of the hair
the cost of a lash is $65 solo and $75 with tint…the best price in Toronto
