ROAR...Toronto

So....I live a pretty great life ( Hi Haters!). I own a biz, a home, an emotionally dependent French Bulldog  ( or maybe he owns me - who knows) and for the most part if there is something I would like to buy, I can or somewhere I would like to go, I can. However, this wasn't always the case and I can remember clearly what living in your car and wondering "what's next" was the question of the day. My good fortune is always in the back of my mind as I work through my day. Sometimes, I'm overwhelmed with all the good stuff in my life and I get a little teary - don't worry I have extensions. Anyway, if I keep taking all the wonderful opportunities/things I have been given without giving back  (a) it makes me a selfish cow and (b) it upsets the balance of the universe.I needed to find a way to give back and of course it had to FIERCE in true FCL style, the event would be to help women in some way ( I have a soft spot for women's events, I think because I am one). In going with the theme of awesomeness, I also had a network of AMAZING female business owners and I knew I could count on all of them for support. I wanted to bring them together to create a fun stylish event that would reward women for overcoming obstacles put in front of them. And this is where the idea for ROAR came from....because she has come through the fire, now hear her ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
